Accommodation in Russia

All larger cities have various levels of hotels. Five star hotels are found in St. Petersburg and Moscow, but smaller cities usually have only three star hotels or lower. In Karelia and remote areas, hotels are often only one star or lower, ie. rooms are poor, and may share a common bathroom.
